Anti-Work | 6 (small web) Projects in One Day

A one-day work comparison between Google's Antigravity and Anthropic's Cowork (AI Coding Assistants)

In 24 hours, on January 23, 2026, all the projects on this page were created. In fact, duplicates of each of these projects were generated because I had each software create the same projects. The human role in this production becomes that of someone who offers a coherent, structured prompt that details content, design, and interactivity processes. Obviously there are imperfections in the results, but the fact that these projects could be initialized and completed by a single individual in a single day suggests that there will be a radical transfiguration in knowledge work in 2026.

Personal note: I do NOT give either of these tools total access to my computer. I let them work within specific folders.

Comparative Reflections

How did they perform? Each tool demonstrated remarkable competence and clarity throughout the session. Antigravity’s primary advantage lies in its seamless image generation—the ability to visualize, integrate, and refine assets directly within the workflow. Claude, by contrast, excels at complex, multi-step programming and autonomous extrapolation; it frequently anticipated project needs, such as developing fictional characters for the Hunt proposal from minimal prompts. While I preferred Antigravity's design grace, Cowork provided an intuitive, thorough agility. Ultimately, they function best as a collaborative team. Working with two agents of distinct strengths suggests a powerful new pathway for accelerated, AI-augmented design creativity.
